My first mood board for one of Leonardo Da Vinci's inventions that I may consider modelling is the tank.
This board is based around the main purpose of the tank: to keep those inside safe, despite being in a dangerous war zone. The images convey the colours and general mood of a hectic war zone, which, if I decide to model this particular invention, will be displayed in the scenery. The main colours associated with a dangerous war zone are shades of brown and grey, for which reason a colour palette has been included in this board. The colours of the tank will be brighter, to convey safety, but still be shades of brown.
